the Huron Hurricanes Aquatic Club Ribbon Cutting Ceremony!
Join us as we celebrate the grand opening of our new starting blocks at the Goderich YMCA on November 27, 2025, from 5:30pm–6:45pm! Enjoy an exciting evening featuring:
Demonstrations of the new starting blocks and swimming techniques led by our Dedicated Coaching Staff and select Huron Hurricanes swimmers.
Local Rolla will be open during the event for dinner
Raffle tickets available for great prizes
A Buy & Swap table for gently used swim gear
We’ll also be recognizing our generous local sponsors who purchased a starting block, the Town of Goderich for their community grant, and Jokey for providing our new block covers.
Due to fire code regulations, attendance is limited to 200 guests

Starting Blocks Ribbon Ceremony Committee (2 points)
Play a key role in planning and celebrating the unveiling of our brand-new starting blocks.Christmas Parade Committee (2 Points)
Spread holiday cheer and proudly represent the Hurricanes in the community parade.Swim-A-Thon Coordinator (Total Minimum Requirement)
Lead the charge on our biggest annual fundraiser—the Swim-A-Thon!Club Official Chair / Administrator (Total Minimum Requirement)
Support our officials and help ensure our meets run smoothly and successfully.
