Volunteer Opportunity
We’re looking for a Club Registrar
Join the HHAC Executive Board and help keep our swimmer records accurate, our registration process organized, and our club running smoothly throughout the season.
This volunteer role is a meaningful way to have a bigger voice in the future of the Huron Hurricanes Aquatic Club while supporting swimmers, families, and the Executive team.
Who are we looking for? You do not need to be a swimming expert. We are looking for someone who is organized, dependable, comfortable with email and record keeping, and willing to learn. Attention to detail and good communication skills are important.
Most importantly, we want someone who wants to be involved, have a voice, and help make HHAC the best club it can be for our swimmers and families.

The Club Registrar helps HHAC stay organized, responsive, and ready for a successful season.
You will help with:
- Swimmer registration and membership changes
- Communication with Swim Ontario and the HHAC Executive
- Accurate, up-to-date club records
- A stronger future for the Huron Hurricanes Aquatic Club
Volunteer Opportunity
HHAC Volunteer Coordinator
The Huron Hurricanes Aquatic Club is seeking an organized, enthusiastic, and community-minded volunteer to help coordinate the people who keep our season running smoothly.
This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys working with families, staying organized, and supporting a positive experience for swimmers, coaches, and volunteers across the club.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate volunteer opportunities throughout the swim season and communicate needs to HHAC families and swimmers.
Maintain volunteer point tracking, records, and reminders.
Recruit and organize volunteers for meets, fundraisers, events, and activities.
Work with the Board of Directors and coordinators to identify volunteer needs.
Help recognize and celebrate the contributions of HHAC volunteers.
Ideal Candidate
Organized, reliable, and comfortable communicating with families and volunteers. Strong communication and organizational skills are a plus.
Time Commitment
Flexible hours throughout the season. Most duties can be completed remotely, with increased involvement around events, meets, and fundraising activities.
